SurveyLA Pilot Survey Program To Start
Pilot surveys for SurveyLA will be launched in May of 2008 and continue throughout the year. The surveys will lay the foundation for the successful completion of the citywide field surveys during the three-year Implementation Phase of SurveyLA, which starts in 2009.

State Awards Los Angeles its First CLG Grant The City of Los Angeles has been awarded its first-ever Certified Local Government (CLG) grant from the State of California’s Office of Historic Preservation.
Consultant Team Selected for First Phase of SurveyLA
Consultant Team Selected for First Phase of Survey Project The Office of Historic Resources and the Getty Conservation Institute have selected a team of historic preservation consultants and historians, led by the Los Angeles office of the firm Jones and Stokes, to spearhead the most significant work product in the first phase of SurveyLA: a Citywide Historic Context Statement and a Field Guide to Survey Evaluation.
